This climate controlled, state of the art facility with security cameras, computer registration, extensive parking areas and modern rest rooms is built into an historic Lancaster County barn and provides a “real auction” environment for it's loyal and extensive clientèle.

With monthly or bi-monthly auctions year-round (see schedule) Hess Auction Services is able to provide a unique and powerful marketing venue for buyers and sellers of valuable personal property to connect. Known for its well advertised “specialty sales” such as the jewelry auction and the antique toy sale, collectors and specialty buyers come from far and wide to attend.

Having the auction house offers a big advantage for Hess Auction customers. Sellers with unique and valuable personal property may find this to be a more suitable auction venue than selling them on their own site. Some locations cannot provide adequate parking and certain items such as jewelry, toys, collectables and antiques may bring better prices at the Cider Press location, especially at one of the well advertised specialty sales.
